DYNEK plans new website
DYNEK is in the process of developing a new website which will make it easier to determine which of our products would be suitable for your hospital, surgery or practice.

As Australia’s only suppliers of locally manufactured sutures and with more than 2000 products in our range, we know it can get somewhat confusing, particularly with a range of ‘options’ depending on needle type and thread selection.
We are working to make our new website more easily navigable so that information on various needle and thread types can be more easily found.
The project is being completed under the direction of Dynek’s Manager of Information Services, Mr Kayes Islam.
“Web sites have come a long way since our initial site, which we will be replacing shortly,” Mr Islam said.
“Some of the issues we have been working through include establishing the right database to help with easy navigation,” Mr Islam said.

A bonus will be the inclusion of web-videos on our popular workshops on suturing techniques.
The new initiative has also resulted in our E-Newsletter, which will be produced regularly to keep you in touch with the art of suturing and the latest developments from Dynek Sutures Australia.

DYNEK CATGUT SUTURES
After months of exhaustive research into the veracity and probity of Dynek's catgut sutures, undertaken by Dynek's Quality Assurance and Research Department, headed by Dr Tim Kaethner, PhD, Dynek continues to supply catgut sutures to medical practitioners and veterinary surgeons in Australia and internationally.
Dynek's sourcing of catgut and its manufacturing processes were put under meticulous scrutiny to ensure that to our best knowledge our Plain and Chromic catgut sutures are not only BSE-free, but present minimal disease risk to livestock when used in veterinary interventions. DYNEK SUTURES PART OF THE NATIONAL CLINICAL SKILLS PROGRAM
Dynek Sutures continues its support of the National Clinical Skills Program, conducted as a series of rolling workshops around Australia by The Benchmarque Group.
"The Program is designed to assist nurses and other health professionals to better understand aspects of medical treatment." Dynek’s Manager of Hospitals, Universities and Training, Martin Fynnaart said.
Dynek is contributing to the program by providing a course in wound closure (see pic, right).

NEW DYNEK NEEDLE
A new needle specially designed for use in Plastic, Dermatology or Cosmetic surgery has been released by Dynek.
Known as the K-TANA® needle, the needle has been engineered to be one of the sharpest available.

“Over recent years, the need for sharper and finer needles for use in delicate skin surgery has become more and more important,” said Dynek’s Managing Director, Dr Patricia Crook.

| DYNEK DELIVERS PERSONAL SERVICE
Over the years, DYNEK has developed a highly refined customer service capacity built around the needs of our clients.
While others have gone down the way of robotic phone answering systems, we have been determined to retain personal contact with our customers, through our team of fully trained suture consultants.
We keep a weather-eye on all of our customers’ ordering habits and attempt to alert you from time to time that your stocks of Dynek sutures might be getting low, particularly if we haven’t heard from you.
But we know that often, for many ‘operational’ reasons, you may need our sutures urgently.
If this is the case, get on the phone or fax to us and place your order before 3pm (Central Time) for delivery as early as the following working day. The suture consultant can provide details of alternative delivery options.
(Please note that rapid delivery services may not be possible for some country and remote areas.) |
